The annual Middle East & Africa FinTech Forum is held in Bahrain under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain and hosted by Arab Financial Services (AFS), the region’s leading payments provider and fintech enabler, supported by Bank ABC, MENA’s leading international bank. The first Forum was held in Manama in 2017.

MEA FinTech goes beyond disruption and helps facilitate the establishment of a cashless society and more sophisticated financial technology services in Bahrain and the region as a whole. The forum is deliberately designed to be highly engaging, with discussions on how FinTech is transforming banking, the move from artificial intelligence to emotional intelligence, the future prospects for the financial industry, and how financial inclusion will transform our world. World-renowned key speakers participate in the conference, demonstrating the significance of the dramatic and transformational change across the financial industry.

The dynamic themes have attracted some of the leading global names in FinTech; industry experts who debate how larger banks need to innovate and expand their business through the use of new technologies. As well as in-depth presentations by these internationally-regarded speakers, the Forum also features a series of engaging group discussions, Q&A sessions, and workshops.
