Before becoming Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, HE Rasheed Al Maraj was the General Manager and Chief Executive of Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation in Dammam, Saudi Arabia from 1999 to 2005. Before that he served in several Bahraini ministries, including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transportation.
